Avoid the crowds and relax at home in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with the coast only five minutes walk through the garden from the front door.

Hendersick House is a substantial stone-built former working farmhouse that was once the centre of a farmstead of some 270 acres extending from here to the sea. Having somehow escaped the ravages of change and modernisation over the years it is now home to a unique self-catering holiday retreat providing for accommodation for groups of up to six people.

The guests' side of the house consists of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms leading off a central corridor. There's an impressive arched window above the main staircase leading down to the sitting room, kitchen and slate-floored entrance hallway.  The front door opens on to your private walled front garden and a crazy paving path leading to your front gate. This entire area is private and self-contained.  Wander out to coastal fields that feel as if they are continuous with the garden and enjoy spectacular views across the sea to Looe island; walk down to the SW Coastal Footpath or across the hillside to the headland at Hore Point.  Guests are also welcome to explore and enjoy my own area of the garden which  extends from your private garden to the area behind the house backing on to National Trust land and the lane leading down to Talland Bay.

Set in 7 acres rambling gardens and fields, surrounded by peaceful countryside in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  Access to the coastal footpath and secluded beach. 5 minutes from Looe by car or local taxi and on main supermarket delivery routes.  Ample free parking next to the house.

Simple, spacious and friendly with a gentle atmosphere of history and tranquillity.

Often you can hear the hammering of a woodpecker across the fields or the call of an owl at night. Deer occasionally wander through the garden. IA private path leads from the front garden to the coast, the SW Coastal Footpath and secluded beach. '

Views from the bedrooms.

Watch the moon rise over the sea, the changing moods of the Rame Peninsular on the horizon and sheep peacefully grazing in Orchard Meadow in front of the house.
