The bedrooms are spacious, informal and bright with the atmosphere of clean sea air and the countryside.

The house and surrounding countryside have changed little since the days when this was a working farmhouse some 40 years ago. Heavy slate flagstones pave the hallway and the thick stone walls of the house give a cosy feeling of warmth and permanence. The front bedrooms all have spectacular views across countryside to the sea.

Bedroom 1

With one single and one double bed, the largest room can easily accommodate 3 adults or a family with space to spare. It has a small private balcony with sea view. Furnished with a grand old wardrobe and antique dressing table. There's a discreet washstand style basin with pillar tap in the corner of the room.

Bedroom 2

The East room has an antique chest of drawers, and  original built in cupboards on either side of a small decorative Victorian fireplace.

Bedrooms 3 & 4

The middle room is a character bedroom with big oak double bed, Victorian chest of drawers and traditional wardrobe.

The twin bedroom opposite has matching antique single beds and a pleasant view across the garden to woodland alongside the lane leading down to Talland Bay.

Kitchen, Lounge and Bathrooms

The kitchen is at the foot of the stairs on the ground floor and fully equipped with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

The lounge with TV/Netflix is near the kitchen and to the right of the front door as you enter the house.  The room is comfortably furnished and has polished wooden floorboards and original shutters at the window. There is a view across the walled front garden with the sea in the distance.

There are two private bathrooms on the first floor, one with a bath and shower, the other with a conventional enclosed shower. The bathrooms are of traditional design with traditional high level flush chain pull cisterns
